Welcome to SeekMySpace. These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your access to and use of the SeekMySpace website at seekmyspace.com, mobile applications, and related services (collectively, the "Platform"). By using the Platform, you agree to be bound by these Terms.

1. Acceptance of terms

By accessing or using the Platform, you confirm that you have read, understood, and agree to be bound by these Terms and our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, you must not use the Platform.

2. Eligibility

You must be at least 18 years old and capable of entering into a legally binding agreement to use the Platform. If you are using the Platform on behalf of a business, you represent that you have authority to bind that entity to these Terms.

3. Account registration

To access certain features, you must create an account. You agree to:

• Provide accurate and complete information
• Keep your login credentials confidential
• Notify us immediately of unauthorised use
• Accept responsibility for all activities under your account

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms.

4. Use of the platform

SeekMySpace is a marketplace that connects space seekers with space owners. We are not a party to any rental agreement between users. We facilitate the discovery, comparison, and booking process, but the contractual relationship for any space rental is between the seeker and the owner.

5. Listings & bookings

For space owners

• You must have legal authority to list the space
• Listings must be accurate, complete, and up-to-date
• Photos and descriptions must truthfully represent the space
• You must honour confirmed bookings

For space seekers

• Use spaces only for their intended and agreed-upon purpose
• Comply with all applicable laws and building regulations
• Leave the space in the condition in which you found it
• Report any damage or issues promptly

6. Payments & fees

All payments are processed securely through our third-party payment partners. Prices are displayed in Indian Rupees (INR) and are inclusive of applicable taxes unless stated otherwise.

• Seekers: Pay the listed price plus any applicable service fee at the time of booking.
• Owners: Receive payouts after the booking is completed, minus the platform commission.
• Platform fees: A transparent service fee is charged to facilitate bookings. Fee details are shown before payment confirmation.

7. Cancellation & refunds

SeekMySpace uses a standardised cancellation policy for all bookings:

• 72+ hours before check-in: Full refund (100%) to seeker.
• 24–72 hours before check-in: 50% refund to seeker; 50% to host.
• Less than 24 hours / no-show: No refund; host receives full amount.
• Host cancels: 100% refund to seeker; host gets 0 and a strike.

SeekMySpace may mediate disputes between seekers and owners. Because Cashfree holds funds centrally, refunds are processed directly from the platform.

8. Insurance & liability

Every confirmed booking includes basic insurance coverage provided through our insurance partners. Coverage details, limits, and exclusions are outlined in the booking confirmation. Additional coverage may be purchased at the time of booking.

9. Intellectual property

All content, branding, logos, and software on the Platform are owned by SeekMySpace or its licensors and are protected by intellectual property laws. You may not copy, modify, distribute, or create derivative works without our prior written consent.

10. Prohibited conduct

You agree not to:

• Use the Platform for any unlawful purpose
• Post false, misleading, or fraudulent listings
• Harass, abuse, or harm other users
• Circumvent the Platform to avoid fees
• Scrape, crawl, or harvest data without permission
• Introduce malware or interfere with Platform operations
• Impersonate another person or entity

11. Termination

You may close your account at any time. We may suspend or terminate your access if you violate these Terms, engage in fraudulent activity, or if required by law. Upon termination, your right to use the Platform ceases immediately.

12. Disclaimers

The Platform is provided "as is" and "as available." We do not guarantee the accuracy of listings, the quality of spaces, or uninterrupted access to the Platform. We disclaim all warranties, express or implied, to the fullest extent permitted by law.

13. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, SeekMySpace shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of the Platform, even if we have been advised of the possibility of such damages.

14. Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of India. Any disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts in Mumbai, Maharashtra.
